Comenius Students at International Festival

The Comenius Faculty and the State Higher Vocational School in Krosno (Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa) signed a cooperation agreement in 2004 which is the longest running international connection of the Faculty.An International Student Festival is organized by our Polish partner each year and our students are invited to take part in regularly. This large-scale event lasted from 19-21 May 2006 with the participation of Polish, Russian, Hungarian, Spanish and American guests. Whereas Krosno and Sárospatak are twin towns, this year some students from the two grammar schools (Árpád Vezér and Reformed Grammar Schools) joined to our group and performed Hungarian folk dance on the stage with a great success. Furthermore, a pop duo made up the Hungarian programme. The festival was also visited

The festival was also visited by three Comenius professors who stayed in Krosno within the framework of Erasmus teaching staff mobility.
