ALUMNI MEETING AND ’PREPART’ EXHIBITION

THE SÁROSPATAK TEACHER TRAINING IS 160 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR. The jubilee programmes started with an alumni meeting and the connected ‘PrepArt’ exhibition.
Our former students initiated and organised the two-day-long programme at the Comenius Campus of Eszterházy Károly Universtiy, 20-21 May. As a result of the jubilee year, former students of the special visual-training classes exhibited their works of art third time this year. The event was enriched by the performance of the former special music-training students.
The official greeting of the general director reviewed the past 160 years of the Institute with the help of some projected archive pictures. The exhibition itself was opened by Ágnes Kovács, former special visual-training student, who is now editor of the net magazine called 'ROVART – ROVÁS CREATIVE GROUP' in Kassa.
The official events were followed by cheerful 'student programmes' such as concerts, sport and mind competitions, castle-visit, excursion, dance, mutual singing at the fire, some goulash, beer, and wine...
