National Student Conference

After over 34 years the National Student Conference (NSC) was organized at Comenius Faculty. The three-day long meeting of the 14th session of the 32nd National Student Conference started on 8 April 2015. Main performers of the event were students deeply committed to the knowledge, who prepared for a long time with the support of their mentors in order to publish the results of their research here.
The first program of the event was a meeting of the members of the jury. Early afternoon the rector of Eszterházy Károly College, professor Kálmán Liptai, the vice-president of NSC, professor Barna Mezey, the chairman of the professional committee, professor János Steklács and the dean of Comenius Faculty of Eszterházy Károly College, Judit Kelemen PhD held a press conference. This was followed by the opening ceremony program where illustrious representatives of the scientific life, the city and college leaders welcomed the guests. Students from Comenius Faculty of Eszterházy Károly College, pupils from II. Rákóczi Ferenc Primary School and students from High School, Primary School and College of the Reformed College were performing in the show.
After the ceremony a horse and a dance show entertained the audience. In the evening our guests could get acquainted with the sights of our town with the help of a guide, and those who wanted to relax were invited for a refreshment bathing in the thermal bath in Végardó late night.
