last modification : 2019. május 15.

Three students of our Campus took part in a Micro-Teaching Contest in Eger, in the venue of the Partner School of EKE.

The contest was organised by the Faculty of Pedagogy in EKE, for the occasion of the 150th anniversary of starting state education for primary school teachers. The Campus of Sárospatak was represented by Nikolett Balla, Boglárka Kalocsai, and Erik Lonscsák third-year students. All of them entered for the same category (2-4 classes). Boglárka Kalocsai taught a Hungarian, while Nikolett Balla and Erik Lonscsák science lessons.

Dr Iván Falus, patron of the competition, in his opening address told that micro-teaching was introduced in Hungary in the 1960s, to enhance the effectiveness of teaching itself (Sánta, 2006). 10th April, all competitors were measured mostly by their drawn part of a lesson, e. g. warming-up, giving meaning, or reflection. Boglárka Kalocsai and Nikolett Balla reached 2nd, while Erik Lonscsák 3rd place. Preparing and accompanying teachers were: Dr Kornélia Toma (Hungarian), Dr György Nagy (Natural Science).
